Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer ranked third globally, commissioned American photographer Steve McCurry to showcase the camera capabilities of its Mi 10T Pro model. McCurry created the series 'My Unsung Heroes,' honoring everyday heroes who persevere anonymously. Using the phone's 108-megapixel AI triple camera, he photographed three people close to him: 98-year-old photographer Tony Vaccaro, a Covid-19 survivor known for iconic WWII images; his four-year-old daughter Lucia McCurry; and his manager Camille Clech. McCurry stated that heroes from all social classes are pillars in difficult times and he wants to make their faces memorable.
