Stephanie Suberville's Heirlome Gains CFDA Recognition, Plans First Show

Stephanie Suberville, co-founder and creative director of the women's ready-to-wear label Heirlome, has received 2025 acknowledgement by the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and 2026 CFDA membership. Founded in 2022 with her husband Jeffrey Axford, the New York City–based brand collaborates with artisans in Mexico and Latin America, integrating traditional techniques like print, pattern, embroidery, and craft into modern designs. Heirlome is preparing for its first runway show during fashion week in September. Suberville, originally from Monterrey, Mexico, and living in New York since 2004, is also working on the Spring 2027 collection, which includes a long-planned artisan collaboration dating back to 2023.
