Stefano Arienti’s Studio Featured on The Square, Sky Arte Season 6

The sixth season of The Square – All You Can Art, produced by TIWI in collaboration with MAXXI, kicks off from Milan. The fifth episode, airing Thursday 5 February on Sky Arte, sees host Nicolas Ballario visiting a former confectionery factory near Parco Lambro where artist Stefano Arienti lives and works. During the studio visit, Arienti discusses his curiosity about the world, his passion for history and geography, and the role of industrial, reused, and everyday materials in his practice. The episode also features a segment on the exhibition Fernando Botero. Tecnica monumentale at Forte di Bard in Valle d’Aosta, where the Colombian artist’s monumental works are shown alongside his sketches for the first time. The Teatri in luce segment focuses on Piccolo Teatro di Milano, with director general Lanfranco Li Cauli and artistic director Claudio Longhi discussing its history and bond with Milan. The animated rubric “Mica male, quanto vale?” in collaboration with Deloitte explores the photography market and recent trends.
