Stefanie Hessler Appointed Director of Kunsthall Trondheim

Stefanie Hessler is set to become the new director of Kunsthall Trondheim on September 15, 2019. She’s a well-known curator and writer with contributions to ArtReview, and has been curating at Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary in London since 2016. Some of her key exhibitions include Joan Jonas's Moving Off the Land II at Ocean Space and Armin Linke's Prospecting Ocean in Venice. Hessler also curated the 6th Athens Biennale and organized the 'Practices of Attention' symposium for the 33rd Bienal de São Paulo. Aside from editing books like Life Itself and Tidalectics, she’s currently writing Prospecting Ocean for MIT Press. She’s excited about Trondheim’s potential to blend art with scientific and tech advancements.
