Steel Architectural Awards ASEAN 2026 Opens for Entries Across Four Countries

NS BlueScope has launched the Steel Architectural Awards ASEAN 2026, inviting submissions for constructed projects from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The initiative, themed 'Shaping Resilient Futures: Timeless Design with Coated Steel,' will unfold in two phases: the Country Awards from April to September 2026, followed by the ASEAN Awards evaluation in October and the awards ceremony in November 2026. A Learning and Sharing Trip to Australia is scheduled for mid-2027. Submissions will be evaluated based on Design Excellence (50%), Innovation (30%), and Sustainability (20%). The judging panel features Ar. Geoff Croker, Ar. Firman Setia Herwanto, Ar. Dr. Serina Hijjas, Ar. Asae Sukhyanga, and Ar. Dr. Truong Nguyen Hoang Long. Partners include various architectural associations and institutions, with ArchDaily serving as the media outlet. Project owner and design team consent is required for entries.
