Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters May 20, Lucasfilm's first film in 7 years

Lucasfilm's new production 'Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu' will be released in theaters on May 20. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White, with music by Ludwig Göransson. It marks the return of the Star Wars universe to cinema after a seven-year hiatus. The story follows Din Djarin and his apprentice Grogu as they protect the New Republic from scattered Imperial warlords. The film is shot in IMAX format. To celebrate the release, a pop-up Star Wars Store by King Jouet opens April 30 in Paris at 43ter rue Étienne Marcel, offering exclusive toys, fashion, and beauty products. On May 4, the first customers get access to a special event at the Grand Rex on May 5 with the film's team, where the first minutes of the movie will be screened. Additionally, a tour of cine-concerts for 'Star Wars: A New Hope' will begin in 2027, featuring the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra conducted by Jordan Gudefin, with 12 dates across France, Brussels, and Monaco.
