festival-fair · 2026-05-05

From August 26 to September 3, 2017, the St. Moritz Art Masters (SAM) commemorates its tenth anniversary with an enriched lineup in St. Moritz and the Engadin valley. Noteworthy features include solo exhibitions by Vladimir Veličković at Forum Paracelsus and Dušan Džamonja at Hotel Kulm, along with twelve pieces by David Hockney showcased at Galerie Robilant + Voena. The Protestant church will host a group exhibition titled "Best of St. Moritz Art Masters," featuring artists such as Schnabel, Sachs, and Fontana. Other attractions comprise "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" at Hotel Bernina 1865, a Montblanc Art Collection at School House, and an African art display by Imibala Foundation at Badrutt's Palace Hotel. Additionally, the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains will present 70 photographs by Peter Lindbergh in a Pirelli exhibition. Founder Monty Shadow sought to blend the valley's cultural heritage with art, while Director Philipp Noller emphasizes the event's role in transforming the area into a cultural center.
