SPRINT Independent Publishing Fair Returns to Milan for Ninth Edition

The ninth edition of SPRINT, the Salone degli editori indipendenti e dei libri d'artista, will take place at Spazio Maiocchi in Milan from November 26 to 28, 2021. This fair will showcase more than 100 independent publishers from 16 nations, featuring exhibitions, performances, talks, and concerts. Notable attractions include a plastic igloo pavilion by the Istituto Svizzero, which highlights the 19 finalists for The Most Beautiful Swiss Book award, and a billboard artwork from the Giovanotti Mondani Meccanici collective. The exhibition RD COPY SOFT TOUCH focuses on queer and transfeminist archives globally. Talks will cover topics such as Belgian DJ LIZA 'N' ELIAZ and 1980s counterculture, while performances include a trilingual feminist dialogue and a concert by pianist Omar Gabriel Delnevo. Additionally, Artifact and Spaziomaglieria will honor graphic designer Franco Grignani. Organized by the non-profit O', SPRINT aims to foster research, experimentation, and archiving through an artist-driven approach.
