Sprint Festival Returns to Milan for Seventh Edition
The seventh Sprint, a salon for independent publishers and artist books, will take place on November 22 and 23 at Spazio Maiocchi in Milan. Artist Dafne Boggeri is organizing the event with Associazione 'O'. This year, 90 publishers from around the globe are joining in, including newcomers from cities like Vigo, New York, and Berlin. Before the festival starts, there’s a risograph printing workshop on November 16-17 led by Eilan Friis-Lund and Archivio Primo Moroni. David Reinfurt will kick off the event with a solo exhibition and lecture featuring his latest book. Plus, there’s the Italian premiere of Dóra Maurer's 1979 video "Arányok / Proportionen / Proportions." The event also honors the La Pecora Elettrica bookstore in Rome, which has faced two arson attacks, and it continues to be a non-profit event with free entry.
