Sponz Fest 2022: Vinicio Capossela Celebrates 10th Edition with 'Sponz Coultura'
Sponz Fest is back for its tenth year, running in Alta Irpinia until August 27, 2022, under the guidance of Vinicio Capossela. It started in Calitri in 2013 and has now expanded to include Sant'Andrea di Conza and Andretta. This year's theme, 'Sponz Coultura,' focuses on culture and cultivation, addressing issues like food waste and sustainability. Capossela describes it as a celebration of community. A highlight will be a walking tour on August 25 from the Church of San Bernardino in Calitri, featuring Mikey Kenney’s 'Paths of Freedom.' The festival wraps up with a concert called 'Rolling Sponz Review – Tutti In Una Notte' on August 27, showcasing various artists. The festival's logo, designed by Jacopo Leone, creatively merges the letters O and U into a horned shape.
