Spazio Vitale becomes foundation, doubles space in Verona

institutional · 2026-04-27

Spazio Vitale, a cultural space in Verona exploring the relationship between technology and humans, has become Fondazione Spazio Vitale as of January 30, 2024, and will double its exhibition space from 300 to 600 square meters. The foundation, led by Davide Bonamini and co-founder Davide Giarolo of main sponsor VTENEXT, occupies a former textile warehouse and abandoned student dormitory in the Veronetta district. Curator Domenico Quaranta announced two collective exhibitions for 2024: a smaller spring show on artificial intelligence as a mirror of humanity, and a larger autumn exhibition on human-tech symbiosis, addressing bodily needs and contemporary unease. Narrative events curated by Francesco Varanini and educational activities for all ages are also planned. The renovation of the basement begins in February 2024.
