Spazio Taverna: New experiential art space launches in Rome
On October 1, 2020, Spazio Taverna was inaugurated in Palazzo Taverna, Rome, marking a revival of the Incontri Internazionali d'Arte, established by Graziella Lonardi Buontempo in the 1970s, which showcased notable artists like Joseph Beuys and Andy Warhol. Under the direction of Ludovico Pratesi, this venue acts as a hub for innovative evenings that merge art with technology, supported by EIIS (European Institute for Innovation and Sustainability). Carlo Alberto Pratesi highlights the importance of art in promoting sustainability within businesses. The launch included a performance presentation, followed by a private event on October 5, honoring Graziella Lonardi. Starting October 19, themed evenings curated by artists and institutions will take place on Mondays, represented by a bear in various Pantone shades, drawing from Native American lunar mythology.
