Spazio Rosen Opens in Rome's San Lorenzo District with Inaugural Exhibition 'Tre'

A new cultural space, Spazio Rosen, is opening in Rome's San Lorenzo district, founded by artists Angela Botta, Alessia D'Erriego, Giulia Pomarici, and Silvia Pegah Scaglione. The venue, located at Viale Scalo San Lorenzo 83, 85, and 87, repurposes three shop windows into exhibition rooms. It will host a theater school, film screenings, and art workshops. The inaugural exhibition, titled 'Tre,' opens on October 5, 2025, featuring works by Orodè Deoro (winner of the 2015 Premio Arte for sculpture), two large canvases by Angela Botta, and a selection of collages by Giulia Pomarici. The opening event includes a live piano performance by Theo Allegretti, poetic-vocal improvisations by Botta, a dance performance by Benedetta Capanna, and a reading of a text by Hannah Arendt performed by poet and theater researcher Alessia D'Errigo. The building housing Spazio Rosen was damaged in the Allied bombing of San Lorenzo on July 19, 1943. The founders conceived the space in 2024 with the goal of creating a hub for artistic exchange, research, and education. The program includes courses in acting, dance, painting, singing, and poetry for both adults and children.
