Spazio Pirotecnico opens in Turin's Aurora district with inaugural group show

exhibition · 2026-04-26

A new contemporary art space, Spazio Pirotecnico, has opened at Via Alessandria 51/E in Turin's Aurora district, near the Porta Palazzo food market. Founded by the artist and creative collective B[r]ODO CULTURALE, the 400-square-meter venue aims to serve as a cultural hub for the community, hosting workshops, events, and exhibitions. The inaugural show, "Connessioni," curated by A Pick Gallery and running until June 21, 2025, focuses on sculpture. It features works by Piero Brarda (Turin, 1943) and Ditjan Muça (Peshkopi, Albania, 1993), collaborating under the pseudonym BohDo, alongside pieces by Francesca Lopetuso (Rome, 1979) in plexiglass, glass, and iron. The installation evokes a forest where nature grows freely and everything is interconnected. Future plans include opening collective activities to the public, launching an installation with devices to gauge audience response, and issuing an open call for illustrators.
