Spazio L'Ove Opens in Former Workers' Canteen in Lugano
There's a new cultural spot called Spazio L'Ove at Via Luganetto 1 in Lugano, which has taken over a former workers' canteen that was once a hub for the Aramaic community. Founded in 2021 by a group that includes Vanni Moretti and Radiana Basso, it’s the headquarters for Associazione Luganetto. The venue partners with local independent cultural groups, fostering connections among artists and professionals. Right now, they’re hosting an exhibition titled "In uscita," featuring artists Cristina Rüesch and Sophia Leitenmayer, running from September 5 to September 12, with Uriel Schmid Téllez as curator. The closing event on September 12 at 6 PM will feature a performance by poet Marko Miladinovic. The goal is to promote independent art and creativity.
