Spark Art Fair 2025 Opens in Vienna with 90 Galleries

On March 21, the Spark Art Fair 2025 commenced at Marx Halle in Vienna, showcasing 90 galleries from both Austria and other countries. The event, which will continue until March 23, revolves around the theme "Performing the City," emphasizing the interaction between tradition and the future. Artistic directors Jan Gustav Fiedler and Walter Seidl strive to establish an inclusive platform for artists. Among the prominent artists are Lois Weinberger, Sanja Iveković, and Gregor Schneider, along with rising stars Lunita-July Dorn and Laura Killer. International galleries like OMA Gallery, Reservoir, Kates-Ferri, and Breeder are participating. Kiluanji Kia Henda presents "Eyes Without a Soul – Post Industrial Portraits," while digital art includes Sasha Stiles' "Heart Mantra," accompanied by performances from Smartphone Orchestra, Station Rose, and Slavs and Tatars.
