Spanish translation of Rada Georgieva's essay on Gonzalo Díaz's infrastructural aesthetics published by Il Posto

Rada Georgieva's essay 'Shoring up the Republic: Gonzalo Díaz's Infrastructural Aesthetics' has been translated into Spanish and published on Il Posto's website. The text analyzes how Díaz used language, monumentality, and architectural materials to explore connections between museums, history, and the State through an infrastructural critique lens. Originally part of Afterall Journal Issue 59–60, which focuses on infrastructure and will be released in June 2026, the essay is now accessible in Spanish. Il Posto, an art space in Santiago, Chile, specializes in exhibiting, studying, and disseminating contemporary Latin American art, with a collection of over 400 artworks and archives documenting artists' trajectories, particularly emphasizing Chilean art from the 1970s to 1990s.
