Spain's Culture Ministry Opens Selection for 12 Conservators and Restorers

The Spanish Ministry of Culture has announced a selective process to hire twelve conservators and restorers of cultural heritage as permanent staff of the General State Administration. Two of these positions are reserved for people with disabilities. The selection will be conducted through an opposition system (competitive exams). Applicants must meet several requirements, including Spanish or EU nationality (with certain exceptions for spouses and descendants), being at least 16 years old, and holding a Diplomatura or Grado in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. They must also have the functional capacity to perform the tasks and not have been separated from public service or disqualified. Those applying through the disability quota must have a recognized disability of 33% or more. Applications must be submitted electronically using the official form 790, accessible via administracion.gob.es or the IPS service, and require a valid digital certificate.
