SP-Foto Launches First Virtual Viewing Room with Over 50 Exhibitors
SP-Foto, a photography fair that has been running for 14 years, introduced its inaugural online Viewing Room from November 23 to 29, featuring more than 50 exhibitors from both national and international backgrounds. Founder Fernanda Feitosa emphasized the event's significance in bridging established artists with new talent. Attendees explored a variety of projects, with each exhibitor showcasing up to 20 pieces. Noteworthy independent initiatives included 01.01 Art Platform, Levante Nacional Trovoa, and MFON: Women Photographers of the African Diaspora, highlighting artists such as Deborah Willis and Tokie Rome-Taylor. Additional venues featured Piscina Art and Centro Cultural Veras. The fair honored the Foto Cine Clube Bandeirantes, with exhibitions from galleries like Luciana Brito and Almeida & Dale, while Documenta Pantanal offered environmental photography and discussions curated by Luciara Ribeiro and Eder Chiodetto.
