SP-Arte Rotas Brasileiras Talks Program Announced for August 2022

SP-Arte Rotas Brasileiras will host its Talks program on August 20, 2022, at Residência HOA in São Paulo's Pacaembu neighborhood. The event features three free public conversations, streamed live on SP-Arte's YouTube channel and the HOA website. The first panel includes artists Moisés Patrício and Aislan Pankararu, moderated by Ana Beatriz Almeida, discussing race and class in art circulation. The second panel presents Lázaro Roberto, founder of the ZUMVÍ Acervo Fotográfico collective from Salvador, and photographer Marcela Bonfim, moderated by Thayná Trindade of the Museu de Arte do Rio. The closing panel introduces the Preamar project from Maranhão, represented by artist Silvana Mendes and Yuri Logrado from Casa do Sereio, with moderation by Felipe Molitor of SP-Arte. The fair itself runs from August 24 to 28, 2022, replacing SP-Foto and aiming to connect agents across Brazil's five regions.
