SP-Arte 2022: 132 Galleries Gather in São Paulo with New Radar Section for Autonomous Artists

From April 6 to 10, the Pavilhão da Bienal in São Paulo, Brazil, will host the 18th edition of SP-Arte, showcasing 132 galleries: 92 from Brazil, 8 international, and 32 dedicated to design. Notable participants include Galeria Luisa Strina, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel, and Nara Roesler, alongside secondary market galleries such as Gomide & Co and Dan Galeria. Among the design galleries are Etel and Atelier Hugo França. The new Radar SP-Arte initiative, curated by Felipe Molitor, highlights unrepresented artists, with five collectives presenting small exhibitions. The fair's design places the Radar SP-Arte and design galleries on the ground floor, while primary and secondary market galleries occupy the upper levels. Talks, facilitated by Jacopo Crivelli Visconti, are scheduled for April 7, 8, and 9.
