SoundMiT 2022: Torino ospita la fiera della musica elettronica

SoundMiT, the electronic music fair, returns to Turin for its twelfth edition. Scheduled for Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13, 2022, the event will take place at the creative hub Toolbox Coworking. Established in 2011 by Francesco Mulassano as Torino Synth Meeting, the fair emphasizes a DIY ethos and artistic experimentation with synthesizers and analog technologies. Supported by the Italian Trade Agency and the Ministry of Economic Development, SoundMiT features 40 exhibitors from both national and international backgrounds, alongside workshops, lectures, and concerts. Notable guests include Andy Morello, Megàle, Paolo Dellapiana, Greta Galli, and Peter Kirn. A Sunday talk will focus on women's inclusivity in STEM, in partnership with Keychange. Additionally, over twenty live performances and a small vintage instrument museum will be showcased, created in collaboration with the Italian synthesizer museum and SynthFest France. Leading up to the fair, Aspettando SoundMiT 2022, a series of video interviews by musician Johann Merrich, will be released.
