SOU architecture school for children expands from Favara to Ostuni

SOU, a unique architecture school for children aged 7 to 12, is expanding from Favara (AG) to Ostuni in Puglia, thanks to a partnership with Officine Tamborrino, a metal furniture design and production brand. The school, founded four years ago by Andrea Bartoli of Farm Cultural Park, offers multidisciplinary education in urban planning, architecture, environment, community building, art, design, urban agriculture, and food education. Officine Tamborrino, led by CEO Licio Tamborrino, will host the school in its spaces and contribute its expertise. A presentation event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, at 6:00 PM, featuring Andrea Bartoli and Marco Imperadori, professor at Politecnico di Milano and honorary member of SOU's scientific committee. The academic year 2020-21 will be directed by designer Sara Mondaini, who will select teachers from Puglia and nationwide. The school aims to foster imagination, culture, and responsibility, training children to become conscious and responsible citizens through creativity, reflection, and social engagement.
