Sotheby's to host 'Art for Grenfell' auction supporting fire victims
On October 16, 2017, Sotheby’s in London will hold an auction called 'Art for Grenfell' aimed at raising money for those impacted by the Grenfell Tower fire. Notable artists like Tacita Dean, Tracey Emin, and Yinka Shonibare, among others, have donated pieces for this cause. The auction is organized by film producer Hamish McAlpine and art consultant Katie Heller. Proceeds will be evenly distributed by the Rugby Portobello Trust, a charity supporting Grenfell survivors, to the 158 families affected.
