Sophie Mess Unveils Floral Mural 'Shared Connection' in Reims
Sophie Mess, a British artist, has finished an impressive floral mural named 'Shared Connection' on Rue Gerbert in Reims, France, as part of the 16th Reims Wall project. This artwork, revealed in March 2026, showcases expansive botanical designs in shades of violet, blush, and blue, revitalizing a concrete wall. It is featured in the POP WOMEN Festival, which honors female artistic contributions in public spaces, and was spearheaded by the female artist duo MAT x ZEKKY from Reims. Mess's inspiration stems from her experiences in New York City, where she collaborated with artist Doan Ly, arranging and photographing flowers. The project received backing from various partners, including Champagne AYALA and Crédit Agricole Nord Est. Romain Berthiot provided the photography. Another large mural is anticipated for Reims soon.
