Sophie and Avalon Emerson Preview Club To Club 2018 in Milan

festival-fair · 2026-05-04

Club To Club, now in its 18th edition, has grown from a 2002 club-focused event in Turin to a major international festival, moving to Lingotto in 2007. This year's lineup includes Aphex Twin. A preview event at BASE in Milan featured Sophie Xeon (SOPHIE), the English producer known for her 2013 debut single "Nothing More to Say" and tracks like "Lemonade" (used by McDonald's) and "Blipp." Her 2017 single "It's Okay to Cry" and debut album "Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides" mark her recent work. Joining her was Avalon Emerson, an American DJ based in Berlin, who emerged in 2014 with "Pressure / Quoi!" after starting in San Francisco. Her music draws inspiration from the Sonoran Desert. The event served as a teaser for Club To Club 2018, starting in a week.
