Sony has collaborated with the London-based luggage company Carl Friedrik to unveil a limited-edition Premium Audio Travel Set, marking the debut of the new flagship 1000X The Collexion series headphones. This exclusive set offers either platinum and tan leather or black-on-black variants of the award-winning The Carry-on X hard-shell suitcase, accompanied by matching 1000X headphones. Included in each set is a luggage tag made from untreated Vachetta leather and a custom insert featuring a bespoke carry case for the headphones. The Carry-on X has a capacity of 44 litres, dimensions of 56cm x 38cm x 25cm, weighs 4.7kg, and is crafted from aluminium, polycarbonate, and vegetable-tanned leather. Established in 2013, Carl Friedrik specializes in lightweight, durable luggage with a timeless aesthetic. The 1000X headphones boast matte metal and gloss finishes, faux leather contact points, flush buttons, a wheel navigation system, adaptive noise cancelling, multi-point connectivity, and a battery life of up to 24 hours. This set is priced at £995 and is available for a limited time at Carl Friedrik's Regent Street and Covent Garden locations as well as online.
