Sonia Boyce and Ekow Eshun launch ArtReview/Ursula monthly talk series in London
'Off the Record,' a new monthly discussion series, has been introduced by ArtReview and Ursula magazine. The first event is set for Tuesday, 1 April at 6:30 PM in Mayfair, London, featuring artist Sonia Boyce alongside curator Ekow Eshun. Tickets are priced at £10 and include a complimentary drink. Upcoming sessions will showcase Es Devlin with George Rouy on 6 May, Martino Gamper with Max Lamb on 3 June, and Thomas J. Price with Gus Casely-Hayford on 1 July. Sonia Boyce, a London native born in 1962, earned the Golden Lion at the 2022 Venice Biennale and played a significant role in the British Black Arts Movement. Ekow Eshun is recognized for his work as a writer and curator, including 'In the Black Fantastic.'
