other · 2026-05-05

Songs Of the FuTure is a digital music competition that mimics the recording industry, organized by the Departments of Computer Science and Communication and Social Research at Sapienza University of Rome, in partnership with ExitWell magazine. Musicians aged 18 and older can participate, gaining access to a customizable online platform to showcase their original songs available for download or streaming at the virtual price of one softy. The contest incorporates five elements of the music industry for customization. Under the guidance of Riccardo De Stefano, the artistic team will accept up to 100 submissions across five bimonthly rounds. Winners will perform live in Rome in 2017, with the top artist earning a slot at MEI in Faenza 2017 and an interview with ExitWell. Registration is free until May 31, 2016.
