Soil Art Tales: climate crisis exhibition at Villa Altieri, Rome, to tour Europe
The exhibition 'Soil Art Tales: Living Ecosystems for Shared Futures' opens at Villa Altieri in Rome, curated by Stefano Cagol. It is part of the European project SoilTribes and promoted by the World Network of Water Museums (Wamu-Net), in collaboration with Anbi and the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital. The show features works by Binta Diaw, Nikki Lindt, Jo Pear, and Miguel Teodoro, exploring soil, water, and life through contemporary art. After a previous stop at the Serralves Foundation in Porto, the exhibition will travel to seven European public institutions over three years. It is included in the 2026 Sustainable Development Festival promoted by ASvis. The venue's transparent floor reveals ancient Roman walls and cobblestone pavements, adding historical depth. The exhibition runs until June 5, 2026.
