Smog Veil Records Founder Lists Sonoma County Estate for $6 Million

Frank Mauceri, the creator of Smog Veil Records, has put his retreat in Sonoma County on the market for $6 million. This 8.5-acre estate, located near Santa Rosa, California, boasts a main house spanning 3,700 square feet, which includes three bedrooms, an office, and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Designed by Jon Reiter, the residence showcases unique features such as plaster Rasta block walls, heated concrete flooring, and a limestone fireplace from the French Louis XIII period. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with a La Cornue stove and Sub-Zero appliances. The outdoor space offers landscaped gardens, an orchard, and a saltwater swimming pool. Additional amenities comprise a guesthouse, gym, and game room. An adjoining 10.52-acre lot is also up for sale at $1.5 million. Mauceri established Smog Veil in 1991, and the label ceased operations in 2021. Holly Bennett of Sotheby's International Realty is managing the listing.
