SMILE-UHURA Challenge: Segmenting Small Brain Vessels from 7T MRI
The SMILE-UHURA challenge, held at ISBI 2023 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, addresses the lack of publicly available annotated datasets for segmenting small brain vessels at mesoscopic scale from ultra-high resolution 7 Tesla MRI. Small vessel pathology is critical in cerebral small vessel diseases. The challenge provides an annotated dataset to spur development of machine learning segmentation algorithms.
