In Beijing, the Smart Concept #2 was revealed by the Mercedes-Benz Global Design Team, representing a significant transformation of the classic two-seater and emphasizing a 'Function becomes Fashion' philosophy for urban mobility. The vehicle's exterior showcases a minimalist design with a two-tone scheme of matte white and warm gold, eliminating unnecessary embellishments for a clean look. Inside, luxurious leather elements blend with translucent surfaces that illuminate details based on light and proximity, creating an unexpectedly upscale environment for a compact car. The all-electric two-seater spans 2,792mm in length and boasts a 6.95-meter turning radius, designed for nimble city driving. It features the innovative Electric Compact Architecture (ECA) platform, offering nearly 300 kilometers of range and rapid DC charging from 10% to 80% in under 20 minutes, along with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
