Sliding Door Pavilion by Piertzovanis Toews in Nuglar-St. Pantaleon

In the Swiss commune of Nuglar-St. Pantaleon, architects Piertzovanis Toews have completed a 15 m² pavilion designed as a youth refuge. The project began with an open letter to the local council from a group of young people seeking a dedicated meeting space, after previous gatherings in various village spots caused friction with residents. The pavilion, completed in 2025, features sliding doors and was built by general contractor az Holz. The design team includes Ionanis Piertzovanis, Heinrich Toews, Thibaut Dancoisne, and Lukas Fritschi. Photographs are by Federico Farinatti.
