SLEEK Magazine Curates Palme d'Or Favorites for Cannes 2025
The International Film Festival of Cannes has begun on the Côte d'Azur, an annual event since 1952. To celebrate, SLEEK magazine selected notable Palme d'Or winners and nominees from the past 65 years. The list includes Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita (1960), Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver (1976), David Lynch's Wild at Heart (1990), Yorgos Lanthimos' The Lobster (2015), Maren Ade's Toni Erdmann (2016), Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman (2018), Bong Joon-ho's Parasite (2019), Thomas Vinterberg's Another Round (2020), Alice Rohrwacher's La Chimera (2023), and Mascha Schilinski's Sound of Falling (2025), which won the Jury Prize at Cannes 2025.
