On Friday, December 26, Sky Arte will present the Italian debut of the documentary "Jeff Koons – Ritratto privato." Directed by Pappi Corsicato and produced by Nexo Digital as part of the "La Grande Arte al Cinema" initiative, the film provides a close look at Jeff Koons, tracing his life and artistic journey over forty years with footage from America, Europe, and Qatar. It includes interviews with Koons, his family (sister, wife, children), and prominent art figures like Mary Boone, Jeffrey Deitch, and Stella McCartney. The original score was created by Enrico Gabrielli and released under the Nexo Digital label. Corsicato, recognized for "L’arte viva di Julian Schnabel" and "Pompei. Eros e Mito," seeks to uncover the man behind the acclaimed artist, focusing on his creative process and how he elevates everyday items into high art and valuable commodities.
