Sky Arte's Artbox features Goldschmied & Chiari, Giovanni Ozzola, and more

exhibition · 2026-05-04

The new episode of Artbox on Sky Arte, airing Thursday November 14, opens with Mona Osman's vibrant paintings at Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia. The Hungarian painter (b. 1992) fills the space with explosive colors and forms that seem to break through the canvas. Next, the Poggiali gallery in Milan presents Goldschmied & Chiari's 'Paesaggi Artificiali // Artificial Landscapes,' where the duo creates large-scale interventions on mirrored surfaces depicting jungles and skies, blending reality with fiction. The episode then moves to Rome's MAXXI museum, which examines spirituality through works by nineteen artists of diverse backgrounds. The episode closes at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, where Tuscan artist Giovanni Ozzola installs site-specific lunettes above chef Carlo Cracco's restaurant, transforming them into three windows onto the sea. The review is by Hou Hanru, who will discuss themes from the Aichi Triennale.
