Sky Arte launches animated series 'Chi si ferma è perduto' with impossible interviews
Sky Arte and TIWI have launched a new animated series titled 'Chi si ferma è perduto', premiering on Sunday, November 7. The series features impossible interviews and travelogues blending reality and imagination, hosted by Neri Marcorè. Each episode focuses on a historical figure who shaped culture through encounters with new horizons. The first episode profiles Marlene Dietrich, exploring her Berlin roots, her rise as the 'Blue Angel' muse of expressionist cinema, her rejection of the Nazi regime, her move to California, her U.S. citizenship, and her performance of 'Lili Marlene' for American troops. She returned to Germany after 30 years for a concert at the Titania Palast, facing mixed reception. Illustrations for the episode are by Luca Albanese, with original music by Valerio Vigliar. The second episode covers Heinrich Schliemann, the discoverer of ancient Troy. Born poor in Germany, he was inspired by Homer's epics, became a wealthy merchant in the U.S., faced legal troubles, and finally excavated Troy against scientific opposition. Illustrations are by Francesco Faccia, with music by Alessandro Stefana. The series is produced by TIWI and Sky Arte, with the Sky Arte website powered by Artribune.
