Sky Arte HD to Air Daily Design Week Coverage and New Series

Sky Arte HD will broadcast daily 'pillole' (short episodes) of De.Sign Fuorisalone 2016 from April 11 to 17 at 8:55 PM, offering behind-the-scenes coverage of Milan's Fuorisalone events across districts including Brera, Tortona, Ventura Lambrate, San Babila, 5 Vie, Porta Venezia, and Sant'Ambrogio. The series, now in its fourth edition, explores contemporary design beyond industrial design. On April 12, the first episode of De.Sign – Apocalittici e Integrati airs, featuring a journey starting in New York at the home of collector and critic Daniella Ohad, then visiting architect Peter Marino (known for luxury spaces for Dior, Vuitton, Zegna, Fendi) and photographer Reuben Hernandez, who created a time-lapse video of New York's urban evolution from 1500 to today. The episode ends at the Manhattan studio/home Material Lust, run by Christian Lopez Swafford and Lauren Larson (Parsons School alumni), who combine Egyptian hieroglyphs with heavy metal aesthetics.
