Sky Arte Festival Returns to Palermo for Second Edition with 10 Unmissable Events

The Sky Arte Festival returns to Palermo for its second edition from October 12-13, 2018, with a packed program of concerts, talks, masterclasses, and film screenings across iconic venues including the Chiesa di Santa Maria dello Spasimo, Orto Botanico, and Teatro Garibaldi. All events are free but require reservation. Highlights include Brunori Sas performing Lucio Dalla's 'Com'è profondo il mare' at the Chiesa di Santa Maria dello Spasimo on October 12; a women-in-art panel at Teatro Garibaldi featuring Hedwig Fijen, Fulvia Carnevale, Laura Barreca, Stefania Galegati Shines, and Paola Nicolin; actor Enrico Lo Verso discussing his role as Michelangelo in Sky's film 'Michelangelo – Infinito'; a talk on Palermo's future with Andrea Cusumano, Dario Nepoti, Leoluca Orlando, Josè Rallo, and Constanze Reuscher; a Leonardo da Vinci art-and-technology talk by Carlo Francini and Franco Losi; a photography masterclass by Oliviero Toscani; actress Isabella Ragonese performing a reading of Rosa Balistreri's songs; a TV production talk with Richard Brown (True Detective) and Antonio Visca; actress Tea Falco presenting the documentary 'Ceci n’est pas un Cannolo'; and a plant intelligence event with scientist Stefano Mancuso and the Deproducers at Orto Botanico.
