Sky Arte Festival Palermo: Enrico Lo Verso and Manuel Agnelli Lead Second Day

The Sky Arte Festival, held this year in Palermo, continued its second day with talks at Teatro Garibaldi focusing on cinema and music. Following the opening night's success with Brunori Sas at Teatro al Massimo, the festival presented 'Michelangelo Infinito', a new Sky Arte film directed by Emanuele Imbucci starring Enrico Lo Verso as Michelangelo Buonarroti. Lo Verso discussed the physical and mental challenges of portraying the artist, emphasizing Michelangelo's solitude and his connection to the stone he sculpted. In another talk, Stefano Senardi introduced the second series of '33 giri Italian Masters', a Sky Arte production dedicated to Italian music icons. The episode on Ivano Fossati explored his album 'Lindbergh – Lettere da sopra la pioggia'. Manuel Agnelli, singer of Afterhours, performed a live version of Fossati's 'La canzone popolare' with Rodrigo D’Erasmo, captivating the audience.
