Sky Arte Festival Documentary Chronicles Naples Creativity

Nearly two months after the three-day festival organized by Sky Arte in Naples, the satellite channel has released a documentary retracing the event held from May 5 to 7. The festival featured artists and entertainment figures including Oliviero Toscani, Manuel Agnelli, Carlo Lucarelli, and Roberto D'Agostino, who animated Villa Pignatelli, the festival's headquarters. At Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano, home to Gallerie d'Italia, Caravaggio expert Carlo Strinati presented I Musici, an early masterpiece by the 17th-century painter, on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of New York. The program also included performances, street events, and the crowded Notte Bianca in the Sanità district, a photographic installation by French artist JR on the Lungomare Caracciolo, a theater show by Mimmo Borrelli, music and writing by Erri De Luca, and a concert by Vinicio Capossela. The documentary captures the city open to diverse creative influences.
