Sky Arte Festival Debuts in Naples with Fabio Mauri Documentary

The first edition of the Sky Arte Festival launched in Naples, premiering the documentary "Fabio Mauri – Ritratto a luce solida" to an audience of VIPs and industry professionals. Directed by Andrea Bettinetti and produced by Good Day Films in collaboration with Studio Fabio Mauri, the film explores the life and work of the late artist (d. 2009), who had strong ties to the city. The documentary was developed alongside a major retrospective at Museo Madre, which ran until March. Featuring archival footage of Mauri himself, the film includes testimonies from his brother Achille, partner Piera Leonetti, Jannis Kounellis, Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Furio Colombo, Laura Cherubini, and Paul McCarthy. Producer Michele Bongiorno stated the goal was to introduce Mauri to a wider audience, emphasizing his moral stance and artistic rigor. The documentary airs on Sky Arte HD on May 7 at 9:15 PM.
