Sky Arte Documentary Series Explores Michele Giangrande's Studio in Puglia

Starting April 18, 2016, Sky Arte HD will air a documentary series on emerging Apulian artists, beginning with 'Odissea Dandy – Michele Giangrande e il suo atelier.' Directed by Giuseppe Tandoi, the episode features critic Antonio Frugis, who has a long professional relationship with Giangrande. The series, produced in collaboration with Apulia Film Commission under the ArTVision project, aims to bring viewers inside the artists' creative spaces. Giangrande, born in Bari in 1979, is known for a pop-inspired playful and ironic aesthetic. Frugis provides a portrait of the artist, suggesting that Giangrande's true studio is the entire world.
