Sky Arte documentary marks Nino Manfredi's centenary

On March 22, 2021, Sky Arte premiered 'Uno, nessuno, cento Nino,' a documentary by Luca Manfredi celebrating the 100th anniversary of his father, Nino Manfredi's birth. This film incorporates an unreleased interview conducted prior to Manfredi's passing, alongside cherished recollections from his family, including his wife Erminia, daughters Roberta and Giovanna, and his grandchildren. Contributions from friends and colleagues such as Elio Germano, Edoardo Leo, Massimo Ghini, and others are included. The documentary features a variety of archival materials, including home videos, film clips, television series, theater performances, commercials, and the song 'Tanto pe' canta' by Ettore Petrolini from Sanremo, illustrating Manfredi's evolution from a spirited child in Ciociaria to a renowned actor who overcame tuberculosis to become a symbol of postwar Italian cinema.
