Sky Arte Documentary Marks LAC Lugano's First Anniversary

On Friday, October 7, 2016, Sky Arte HD will air a documentary celebrating the first anniversary of LAC Lugano Arte Cultura, a Swiss museum dedicated to creativity. Located at the Italian-Swiss border, LAC has quickly gained prominence internationally. The museum spans approximately 29,000 square meters, including a piazza and rear park, and features three exhibition areas across as many floors for temporary shows and permanent collections. Current exhibitions include David Michalek's video installation 'Slow Dancing,' shows dedicated to Paul Signac and Antonio Calderara, and a dialogue between Ilya & Emilia Kabakov's works and historical avant-gardes from the Collezione Olgiati. The documentary will explore LAC's role as a cultural hub engaging with the local territory.
