Sky Arte Documentary Follows Dolce&Gabbana's Puglia Alta Moda Journey
A new documentary titled "Puglia – Appunti di viaggio" will premiere on Sky Arte on November 19 at 21:15, streaming on NOW and available on demand. The film chronicles Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's recent experience in the southern Italian region of Puglia, where they presented their Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections. Produced by Sky Arte and Dolce&Gabbana, directed by Beppe Tufarulo, and made by TapelessFilm with support from the Puglia Region and Pugliapromozione, the documentary goes behind the scenes of local workshops where artisans created D&G garments and jewelry. The narrative draws on memories collected in 1884 by Englishwoman Janet Ross in her book on Puglia, read by actress Licia Lanera. It also features actress Helen Mirren, who has lived in Puglia for over a decade and supports the Save The Olives association. The film includes fairy-tale performances in exceptional locations and stories from other public figures who have adopted Puglia as their second home.
