Sketch in Bloom 2026 celebrates 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh

London restaurant Sketch has unveiled its 12th annual Sketch in Bloom installation, timed to coincide with the Chelsea Flower Show 2026. This year's theme honors the centenary of A.A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh, illustrated by E.H. Shepard, transforming the Grade II*-listed Mayfair venue into 'The Hundred Acre Bloom.' Multiple London florists have taken over different spaces: LVF Creative Studio created a forested entrance hall with a mossy floor and a tree with a fairytale door, and also decorated the Glade with blue balloons among the tree-inspired canopy. Ricky Paul Flowers designed the East Bar and Pod loos, featuring a tree with a hanging beehive, miniature bees made from craspedia flowers, and a sign from Owl's house. The Pods display a garden landscape with delphiniums, alliums, chrysanthemums, and other blooms. Sketch's Lecture Room and Library offer a four-course tasting lunch menu and afternoon tea with a Winnie-the-Pooh theme. Sketch collaborated with publisher Farshore on an exclusive centenary edition, and unveiled three Merrythought Edward Teddy Bears (18-inch, 11-inch, and key charm) handmade in Shropshire. The installation runs from 12 May to 7 June 2026.
