Sixth Art Bonus Competition Launches to Award Best Cultural Sponsorship Projects

The Art Bonus competition has launched its sixth edition, celebrating initiatives supported by Italy's 65% tax incentive for cultural donations in 2021. This year, 2,187 entities benefit from the program, with more than 26,000 patrons contributing to 4,905 projects that have collectively raised €643,315,388. Culture Minister Dario Franceschini emphasized the growing support for cultural heritage. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, ALES Spa, and Promo PA Fondazione – LuBeC, the competition includes over 350 qualifying projects across 19 regions, with one-third dedicated to restoration, one-third to performing arts, and one-third to cultural institutions. Noteworthy participants include Fondazione Teatro San Carlo di Napoli and Teatro Regio di Parma. Voting will take place from January 19 to April 1, with the winner revealed on April 15.
