Six Umbrian towns unite under 'Terre del Perugino' tourism brand
In Umbria, six towns—Città della Pieve, Corciano, Magione, Paciano, Panicale, and Piegaro—have established the 'Terre del Perugino' network to foster sustainable tourism centered around the Renaissance artist Pietro Vannucci, also known as Perugino. This initiative seeks to improve tourist services and enhance competitiveness by partnering with local museums. A new online platform provides a €12 ticket, which is valid for 90 days, granting access to numerous museums and exhibitions. Notable locations include the Oratorio Santa Maria dei Bianchi and Museo Civico Diocesano in Città della Pieve, as well as the Antiquarium comunale and Museo della Pievania in Corciano. Activities offered encompass urban trekking, educational workshops, and guided tours that showcase both the landscapes and Perugino's artwork.
